Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using BLOQ Social ("BLOQ", "Service"), operated by BLOQ Social at 300 Washington Ave., Monroe, LA 71201, United States, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our Cookie Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 18 may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during registration.

3. Account Rules

• You are responsible for the security of your credentials, including any registered passkeys.
• You may not share your account or transfer it to a third party without our written consent.
• You must not impersonate another person or organisation, including via username, display name, or avatar.
• One person, one primary account. Secondary "project" or "brand" accounts must be clearly disclosed.

4. Prohibited Content

You may not post, share, or transmit content that:

• Promotes phishing kits, wallet drainers, fake airdrops, rug-pulls, or any other crypto scam.
• Constitutes a pump-and-dump or other market-manipulation scheme.
• Solicits, distributes, or markets private keys, seed phrases, or signing material.
• Infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
• Contains hate speech, threats of violence, harassment, doxxing, or sexual content involving minors.
• Distributes malware, exploits, or unauthorised access tooling.
• Violates applicable law in your jurisdiction or ours.

5. Wallet & Web3 Disclaimer

BLOQ Social is a social platform, not a financial adviser, broker, exchange, custodian, or registered investment firm. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Tokens, cashtags, project pages, and market data are presented for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and for understanding the risks of cryptocurrency, DeFi, NFTs, and any on-chain interactions.

We do not custody user funds. Wallet connections are client-side and signed in your wallet of choice. We never request your private key or seed phrase.

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant BLOQ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, and create derivative works (e.g. thumbnails, embeds, syndicated previews) of your content as necessary to operate the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content, subject to backup-retention windows described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Takedown Procedure

To request removal of content that you believe violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or your rights (including copyright), submit a report via the in-app "Report" affordance or email legal@bloqsocial.com. DMCA notices are handled per our Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, with or without notice depending on severity. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete account, subject to the grace-period restore window.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BLOQ Social and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred US dollars ($100), or (b) the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve (12) months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BLOQ Social from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual-property or privacy rights.

12. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a lawsuit, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting legal@bloqsocial.com with a written description of the dispute. If we cannot resolve the matter within 60 days, either party may proceed to binding arbitration in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Class actions and class arbitrations are waived to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted. Material changes will be announced via an in-app banner or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
