Acceptable Use & DMCA

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements our Terms of Service and our Community Guidelines. It explains the specific activities that are prohibited on BLOQ Social and the DMCA takedown procedure for copyright owners. By using the Service you agree to this AUP.

2. Prohibited Activities

Crypto-specific abuse

• Phishing — fake project pages, look-alike wallet sites, credential-harvesting forms.
• Wallet drainers — links to or promotion of malicious dapps that drain connected wallets.
• Fake airdrops & giveaways — "claim 1 ETH", "send X get Y", impersonating Vitalik / @CZ / @SBF-style scams.
• Pump-and-dump & coordinated market manipulation — including paid shilling without disclosure.
• Rug-pull projects — promotion of tokens or projects you know to be exit-scam-shaped.
• Soliciting private keys, seeds, or signing material from other users.

Platform abuse

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, doxxing.
• Mass-DM spam, follow-spam, paid reply farms, fake engagement.
• Impersonation of other users, projects, brands, or BLOQ staff.
• Bypassing moderation — coordinated brigading, ban evasion via alt accounts, edit-after-quarantine.
• Reverse engineering the Service, scraping at industrial scale, automated bulk account creation.

Illegal content

• Sexual content involving minors (zero-tolerance — reported to NCMEC and law enforcement).
• Distribution of malware, exploits, or unauthorised-access tooling.
• Sale of illegal goods or services.
• Any content that violates applicable law in the United States or your jurisdiction.

3. Enforcement

Violations are evaluated using the BLOQ moderation pyramid described in our Community Guidelines. Sanctions range from warnings to permanent account closure and wallet flagging for confirmed scam addresses. See Section 7 of the Community Guidelines for the full ladder.

4. DMCA Takedown Procedure

BLOQ Social respects the intellectual-property rights of others. If you believe content posted on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA notice. We will respond per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

4.1 Designated Agent

4.2 Required Information

Your written notice must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
3. The URL(s) on BLOQ Social where the allegedly infringing material appears.
4. Your contact information (full name, address, telephone, email).
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

4.3 Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice including the same elements above plus a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located. We will forward the counter-notice to the original complainant; absent a court action within 10–14 business days we will restore the content.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

BLOQ Social terminates the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. An account that accrues three (3) substantiated DMCA notices within a rolling 12-month period will be terminated and may be permanently banned from re-registering.

6. Reporting Other Abuse

For non-DMCA reports (scams, harassment, impersonation), use the in-app Report affordance or email legal@bloqsocial.com. See our Community Guidelines for response-time expectations.
