Confessions of a Crypto Rambler
Just one more Rabbit Hole
Confessions of a Crypto Rambler
Hi, my name is Matt... and I have a crypto rabbit-hole problem.
It starts innocently enough.
"I'll just check Bitcoin for five minutes."
Three hours later I've somehow connected Bitcoin, tokenized classic cars, validator networks, quantum security, stablecoins, RWAs, AI, market caps, staking rewards, exchange volumes, and a conspiracy theory I accidentally clicked on.
Somewhere along the way I also calculated what X million coins would be worth at every price between $0.001 and $1.00... just in case.
My calculator deserves overtime pay.
Friends ask me, "How's work?"
I answer, "Depends... are we talking roofing work or the future of decentralized infrastructure?"
Normal people look at a classic '69 Camaro and think, "Nice car."
I look at it and think, "How could we tokenize this?"
Someone mentions coffee.
I'm wondering if the café accepts crypto.
Someone says they're going on vacation.
I'm wondering which exchange has the best liquidity in that country.
Someone asks what time it is.
I somehow answer with the current Bitcoin price.
It's become a lifestyle.
I've probably typed the words "market cap" more times this year than my own last name.
I've asked enough "What if..." questions to power an AI for a month.
What if it reaches a penny?
What if it reaches ten cents?
What if everyone validates?
What if tokenization changes everything?
What if we're still early?
Then I disappear into another research session that somehow ends with fifteen browser tabs open, a notebook full of ideas, and absolutely no clue how I got there.
The funny part?
I'm okay with that.
Crypto is one of those spaces where curiosity is almost a requirement. Every answer creates three new questions. Every project teaches you something new. Every rabbit hole connects to another rabbit hole.
Sure, I ramble.
A lot.
Probably too much.
Actually... definitely too much.
But every big innovation started with people asking questions everyone else thought were weird.
So I'll keep asking.
I'll keep learning.
I'll keep connecting dots.
And yes... I'll probably post another long crypto ramble tomorrow that starts with, "Hear me out..."
If you've read this far, congratulations.
You're officially part of the ramble now.
Welcome aboard. 🚀
